Parking: Please check your site's driveway length-this may limit the number of vehicles and size of RV at your site. Vehicles joined to the first vehicle by a hitch and towed onto the site are NOT subject to additional fees. One vehicle is included with a single site two with a double. Vehicle Fees: There is a $10 additional fee per day for each additional vehicle. Please call the campground within 24 hours of check-in with questions. Occupancy: Sites must be occupied each night of the reservation-unoccupied sites will be forfeited without refund and released. NOTICE: Campsites situated close to Forest Road 57 may hear road noise from passing vehicles. New for 2023: In response to visitor feedback, we have limited the number of nights you can reserve past the current booking window to 8 nights and the maximum consecutive stay to 9 nights. Construction-related noise (such large equipment in operation) may travel to campers staying in Hoodview on weekdays. NOTICE: There is construction Monday – Thursday approximately 0.5 miles from Hoodview Campground from May through July of 2024. Timothy Lake is currently only accessible from the east (Hwy 26) due to the 2020 wildfires. The nearest grocery store is in Government Camp, about 23 miles away, west on Hwy. ![]() The nearest gas station/convenience store is about 18 miles away, west on Hwy. A campground host is also available on-site. Accessible vault toilets and drinking water are provided. Each site is equipped with tables and campfire rings with grills. The campground offers dozens of single-family campsites for tent and RV camping. The surrounding forest setting offers spectacular views, miles of trails for exploration and abundant fishing. The Hoodview Campground sits on the shores of Timothy Lake, in the shadow of Oregon's Mt.
